A top 10 of empowering videos on growth.

My personal vision is "Rise. Connect. Empower." My vision inspires me to keep developing myself. Through my vision, I hope to inspire others to keep growing.

Today I want to share some of my favorite sources of inspiration for personal growth with you.

1. Brene Brown – Power of vulnerability

At Partem we have all become fans of this powerhouse of a woman and researcher, Brené Brown. Every other sentence is an eye opener when it comes to dealing with love, vulnerability, and shame. Her humoristic approach enables me to laugh at myself and work on embracing my vulnerability!

 2. Simon Sinek – 10 rules to

This video is a compilation of several lectures of Simon Sinek. I used to listen to his talks before every workshop because it helped me built confidence as a trainer. His tips help you to improve your skills and take ownership over your life.

3. Jim Rohn – Personal development seminar

Life changing advice about setting goals, planning your financials and life management. We use parts of this video in our workshop and every time I listen to it, I hear something new. Since Jim Rohn died a long time ago, the quality of the video is a bit grainy, but the quality of his words definitely withstood the test of time.

4. Randy Pausch - Last Lecture

What would you do if you had only short time left on this earth? Randy Pausch decided to share his life lessons on how to achieve your childhood dreams with the world. From small life hacks (like never email about sensitive topics)  to major life lessons (live your legacy). Humbling, inspiring and funny at the same time.

Tip: fast forward to 8.15 to skip introductions

5. Tony Robbins – Creating an extraordinary quality of life

Tony Robbins on Oprah, what is not to love. Tony Robbins always inspires me to take action. Confronting without being blunt. Inspires to hold yourself to a higher standard and motivates to face the situation as it is and go from there. Say aye!

6. Barry Schwartz – The paradox of choice

Barry Schwartz's interesting beliefs on freedom of choice helps to understand how excess in choice can make it harder to find happiness and fulfillment.

7. Lisa Nichols – How to step into your purpose

How to go from broke and broken to creating a life you love. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You are always just as far in as you will ever be out. It starts by using your lessons as fuel to take that first step towards to change. Honest and inspiring.

8. Barbara Sher – Isolation is the dreamkiller

When “positive thinking” is a little vague and fluffy for you, you might like this more practical approach. I always thought independence was strength, but knowing how to create a supportive network around you is just as important.

9. In the room – Sylvia Boorstein

An amazing women that talks abstract concepts like mindfulness, happiness and inner peace by framing them in practical examples. If you are an natural over thinker like me, this can help you understand yourself better and make living with your mind easier.

10. Sadghuru

Full of wisdom and a very dry sense of humor. This is not about religion, it is simply about being alive and letting go of what is holding you back.
